According to Briefing, the House testimony released was identical to the remarks he made to the Senate last week. This time we don't mind; I suppose there was at least some fear he'd make things worse. Q&A should be interesting, though.

I disagree: making comments that cause sharp market movements is not part of his job. He's been getting a lot of flak for this. I find it extremely disingenuous of him to announce that his remarks were "not intended" to have any actual effect on prices. Who'd believe it?
