Minervini invested in NASDAQ 100- they were leading quite dramatically. Won't move into cyclicals- not because he doesn't think they will move higher. Minervini thinks cyclicals will continue to move higher, but its not his area of expertise. Quantech looks for earnings, growth, high relative strength and much more momentum than the cyclicals have. He thinks the cyclicals are just correcting right now. They are in a natural rotation process. The US is in very good shape.
If gold stocks start performing stronger that would be another sign of inflation. Right now oil is the only sign of increasing prices. Without another sign, Minervini is not worried about inflation.
Broadening of market underneath but leadership we had is correcting. The market is in a natural rotation process. Indexes have done quite well. Thinks S&P might lag behind now.
