Hello all, I have been doing some more DD on WIN and have been exploring their website in depth. I find the website to be very informative and well laid out and I thought I might post a couple of key tidbits here over a couple of post. Several questions have been raised here and on other threads regarding shares and other such things. Just to clear the air up front I am only a small retail investor who has given WIN a fair sized percentage of my portfolio as I am impressed with their story and potential. I also hold a good chunk of IWM and feel WIN has as good or better potential. Anyone who cares to debate this please do so. I am a computer technician by trade and feel wireless internet potential is absolutely huge. Their website address is wi-lan.com Cheers!!! This is for the benefit of those who missed it, other such tidbits can also be found on the website.

Wi-lan seeking buyer or other arrangements Deal expected soon
Carol Howes Financial Post
Wi-Lan Inc., a fast-growing company in high-speed wireless data communications, has put itself up for sale.
Hatim Zaghloul, president and chief executive, said yesterday that in the last few months the Calgary company has been approached by a number of potential buyers and has hired ScotiaMcLeod Inc. to advise Wi-Lan on a sale or other business arrangement.
The six-year-old company, with revenue of $6-million last year --and projected revenue of $9-million this year -- recently won a number of large contracts including a major deal with Telia, the national Swedish telephone company, and Tele2U.K., a subsidiary of international cellular giant Millicom International Cellular SA.
Mr. Zaghloul said those who have approached him are brand names in the wireless telecommunications industry.
While interested in Wi-Lan's technology, large customers are looking for Wi-Lan to hook up with a partner that can grow the company, he said. "It's a matter of realizing the size of the market."
Mr. Zaghloul expects to have a deal in place within a few months.
