Well, it was to buy on/around Labor Day, and sell sometime around Memorial Day, though perhaps April 1 would be better. It wasn't my idea, though (even if I may have recently revived it), it was actually bandied about on the Seagate and Quantum threads before this thread was even begun. Significant lows seem often enough to come in August/Sept for these stocks. Significant enough, at least, for the stocks to frequently be at least 2 or 3 time higher by sometime between the following Jan and April. I wouldn't want to try it in bear markets, though.
