By the way, Russia and US seem close to a settlement of the Kosovo conflict. See stratfor.com for latest. They've given in to allowing peacekeepers having some NATO countries so long as they're not the ones involved in the bombing and allowing for them to carry weapons, not just light arms. There was a news article on this today re: the Euro-Dollar and that the Euro should recover several percent on the settlement, and also that the ECB (European Central Bank) stated they may buy Euros to bolster it. The same article reported the negative outcome from Japan's PM's visit to the states --- no additional stimulus for Japan's economy --- and that the Yen may fall to 140 to the dollar as a result.
