Found a little tiny link that dates back from 11/98 that is, well, interesting. If you scroll down, you will note a post from a Wave Systems field sales person re: one of the applications of EMBASSY that I, of all people, should be most interested in: metering how folks interact with Web ads, etc. (In some ways, this raises privacy issues... that's the nice-guy part of me talking. Now, as a Web advertiser, or somebody knows a few, man, this is the holy grail... microtargetable, mass-customizable offers... with highly measurable interactions.)
