Technician: Talking of trailing PE even non net companies are given such loft value. For example AMAT is a market leader and is in cyclic business. But recently it was given as much high PE as some of the internets. I would like get your comment on this as to whether it is a good candidate for short/put buying. Note that this AMAT's sector is expected to recover but is not in clear yet. exchange2000.com I am right now worried more about recent T, COMCAST and MSFT's collusion than trailing PE.
