Stagger, Just look at SSTI. It has a proprietary flash manufacturing technique, better write speeds than SNDK's best products, and expertise in microcontrollers. People are licensing the technologies, but SSTI has not been able to capitalize on this. They have not had a profitable quarter of late. Thus, I see them as a sitting target for some larger company to roll into their core business and bring these technologic advances to fruition. The anti-takeover measures announced tonite (after my earlier post) give credence to this theory. The poison pill still wouldn't prevent a mutually beneficial takeover offer if the suitor could sweeten the pot enough for Mr. Yeh. Also, the in-house R + D must be worth something. Ausdauer
