i wonder how many really donated money when you asked I wondered about this too. When I posted that letter from Mercy International, I removed all the email addresses on the "TO:" portion of the email. (I wrote them and advised them to use the "BCC:" field so others' email addresses would remain private.) What caught my attention was that there were only about 10 names/email on the "TO:" line and they seemed to be manually entered rather than drawn from a list, so I thought they had only a few people to write to. I thought this odd given how many people supposedly had written to them with contributions.
