Customers Now Can Make Free Long Distance Calls To Anywhere Across the 50 States
OMAHA, Neb.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 4, 1999--AirTouch today announced new simplified digital pricing that allows Nebraska customers to call from anywhere in the state to anywhere in the 50 states for one low monthly fee.
''Our research shows that while Nebraska customers do most of their travel within the state, they want the freedom to call to anywhere in the United States,'' said LeAnn Talbot, vice president and general manager for AirTouch's Midwest area. ''With AirTouch's new simplified pricing there are no roaming charges within the state of Nebraska and no outgoing long distance charges. Customers now can easily make calls when and wherever they travel throughout Nebraska for one flat rate.''
The new AirTouch Statewide Toll and Roaming calling plans range from 200 anytime minutes for $39.95 a month up to 650 anytime minutes for $79.95 per month. Customers can sign up at any AirTouch retail store, participating authorized dealer or by calling 1-800-AIRTOUCH. The minutes that customers use while roaming or placing long-distance calls within Nebraska are considered part of the monthly allowance. A one-year service agreement and AirTouch ONE-BILL Long Distance service are required.
During May, customers that sign up for AirTouch's Statewide Toll and Roaming calling plans at any AirTouch retail store will receive their choice of a free annual park pass good for admission to any state park in Nebraska or a one year subscription to the NEBRASKAland magazine.
