Hello Chucky - Regarding catalog requests, I wouldn't worry too much. Catalog folks, VS and others, send them out regardless. Now it is actually more on target. Hypothetically, there could be frivolous requests coming out the raging harmone type <g>. However, with so many publications available, not sure if that is the predominant scenario. Therefore, the conclusion is that increase requests may lead to increase sales.
The important thing is that IBI is a highly profitable outfit with a net strategy, which is quite the opposite of today go-go stocks of the companies with a net presence without any forseeable profit possibility [note: I am not dissing the later, but face it, barrier of entry to the net is so low, the only reason the 2nd is so hot is b/c of the hot money, but since I am not the hot money crowd, I prefer real profitable companies.]
