E*Trade & CVIA Warrants

I converted thru E*Trade. They charged a $20 "Voluntary Reorg Fee" for the conversion of my 666 warrants. But I was not to happy. I asked them to do this in late January or early February, in order for the new shares to be eligible for the ArchivalCD stock distribution. I sent in the request by Email and also called in to make sure the request was being processed.

However, the conversion was not done until March 17. By that time I had given up on meeting the deadline. Also, the CVIA per share price at that time was well below $3.00, so I was not to keen on rushing through the conversion. Anyway, by the time they made the conversion I had well less than $2,000 in my cash account and only noticed that the deed was done when I checked my account and found that I was being rudely requested to immediately submit more cash or my new purchases would be liquidated! I wasn't too happy, but I scraped up the cash.

I'm happy now, but E*Trade is not the smoothest running organization, as you can see.
