I wonder what the implications for ATHM would be for this?



AT&T is working to forge a partnership with Microsoft that would involve Microsoft paying about $5
billion for a 2 to 3-percent stake in the telephone company, according to reports.

The talks between Microsoft and AT&T, reported by the New York Times today, also play a role in the attempts
on the part of AT&T to fight off Comcast in its bid to acquire cable company MediaOne Group for $54 billion in
cash and stock.
