Bob,

the article posted yesterday citing that AAC has the lead due to it's open systems platform and MPEG similarities caused me a bit of concern (I owned the stock last week from .85-2.9 and have been waiting for reentry but missed the sub 2's). The article did not say that it would take hours to download, but rather that the file size of AAC was smaller than MP3 (decreasing download time) and would take hours to encode by the recording studio, making the process more tedious to potential piraters.. Since the SDMI may be looking at this situation with EPAC as the number 2 standard, what will happen to EDIG? Can we assume that the MicroOS is so good that it would be a likely platform to deliver AAC encoded music and should be alligning itself with those potential partners immediately?

regards,

Brian
