<One thing that I've noticed on these forums is that the dark side (shorts) are hands down more accurate with their predictions (short term that is) than longs. I put it down to the fact that they don't fall in love with their investments.>

What you might also notice is that they generally don't start making these predictions until after a stock has had many many up days and signals some weakness as it did on Monday. In other words you did not hear many predictions during the month of March or April when NITE had many big days including one of 33 points.

There is little point in having recriminations. Just keep in mind why you bought this stock. Some like to short and some like to add on pullbacks. This stock is often too unpredictable to take a chance of selling your position with any certainty you will get back in cheaper. I have heard many complain that they sold and then missed getting in for a 15-20 run up as they waited for an opening. If you look back over the last several weeks, Tues. was the only day where there was a lot of shorting, which actually helps drive the price down. When the price turns, they will also be the ones helping it back up as they cover.
