Cash: Ahhh... options... Well that explains it.

It explains a lot! <disheveled stare> <GRIN>

Options are a kind of margin in themselves (I guess... don't know much about 'em)

They're definitely a form of leverage. No other way I could "control" 500 shares of Dell for less than $2k! But then there's that little bit about "substantial risk of loss of principal" to keep a guy sober. <ggg>

I guess you'd need to be "On the floor" to day trade them.

People do day trade them. It helps to have a ton of experience and a much bigger account than I do! It also helps to be on the *selling* side of the market. Then time works in *your* favor. Trading long options like I am is something of a crap shoot.

Learning a lot along the way! Nice talking to you, Cash. Good trading!

Mike
