Actually "the way of internet stocks" has been to fall apart so far. It's gotten so bad the Mapquest IPO couldn't even open up 100% <g> from its offering price and went straight down from there, up just under 50% at the close.

I don't think anyone's worked out all the figures because all the data isn't available yet (the Yahoo IPO page has some glaring blank spots, and last I checked still had the May 10 date). Suffice it to say it won't be a huge spike like DBCC, simply because BKS is already a sizeable company, so the effect won't be as drastic. Check CBS, for example, which had the same stake as DBCC in MKTW, yet didn't even twitch while DBCC was going through the spike.

BKS is somewhere 'twixt and 'tween these two. I for one would not be shocked to see the IPO run-up peter out in the low 40's.
