Gary: I'm glad at least two of us agree on the math. Maybe we can drive the price up by buying and selling to each other.
You know, I keep reading on this thread that Jensen is not willing to promote the stock, spend or raise money, manage the business by taking it to the next step, etc. Somehow, this doesn't ring true to my mind.
First, I understand Dick retired fairly early after making a PILE as a CEO. How many of us have done that? Second, IMO, shareholders would not have been well-served were he to have promoted the stock before obtaining the Oro Grande. Third, when Dick has a proven process, with viable sales and assays, I don't think he will be at all bashful about going to the bank and raising the money he needs to sustain an enlarged, profitable operation, or the alternative, under the aegis of a JV partner. Over-riding this scenario is the possible "desert dirt" stampede, and the possibility of a GPGI buyout.
Gary, in short, I guess I am more optimistic than many on this thread about Dick's vision for the future. The one thing that makes me a little apprehensive is that it all seems to take much longer than it seems like it should. Spoken like a true boomer, n'est ce pas?
I see progress, and I see the R&D phase at, or near, an end. I see cash flow beginning this summer. I see much higher stock prices by fall possibly with the intervention of a JV partner. Finally, I see all of us retired on the beach within a short walk to the golf course and macaws screeching in the palms.
Our day is comin'...
