"Securities Laws and Corporate Governance: The Advent of a Meltdown?" is the topic of a live panel discussion that will be held via the Internet on Thursday, May 13, 1999, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. EST. There is no charge to view the Webcast. Those interested should visit the Milberg Weiss Web site (www.milberg.com) in order to register before May 10, 1999. Online registration for the Webcast is required. (Please note that your e-mail registration with Milberg Weiss does not automatically register you for the Webcast.)

Registrants will need a computer equipped with media player software in order to receive both the audio and visual components of the Webcast. The software is free and can now be downloaded from the registration page on our Web site.

The panel will be comprised of nationally recognized experts in securities laws and shareholder litigation trends and issues. Guest speakers will include: William S. Lerach, partner of Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes & Lerach LLP, the largest plaintiffs' law firm in the United States; Joseph A. Grundfest, director of the Roberts Program for Law, Business and Corporate Governance at Stanford Law School; and Tower C. Snow, Jr., chairman of Brobeck Phleger & Harrison LLP, a leading defender of securities class action lawsuits. Nicholas J. Conca, first vice president and claims counsel of Reliance National's Financial Products Division will moderate the discussion.

During the Webcast, the panelists will comment on securities litigation reform measures and the risks publicly traded corporations face in the wake of stock price fluctuations. Litigation patterns will be examined, and speakers will offer their views on current trends and the outlook for the future. The panel will also answer questions submitted via e-mail by Internet viewers.
