Howdy Pals, Thanks for the address Carolyn and will write through the mail too...maybe soon can compliment for removing the Tequiza advertisement from Stern's show and thank for granting request that good USA Companies not enable Hate Talk by sponsoring it. More BUD links nyse.com (look up annheuser-busch), seaworld.com , tequiza.com (Tequiza beer was the new product they had ads on for. I say WAS because haven't heard ads from BUD this week, though still haven't listened from start to finish and maybe can't...and taking a break from Stern today folks, need my early morning silence). Back to a normal day today, it's been awhile. The stocks have been lousy, eh... Dow Up Most Share Prices Down - Nasdaq Down Most Share Prices Down. As promised, by week's end will hear Howard Stern start to finish to monitor progress of sponsor attrition. Yesterday good, longer time yet in between ads and shorter sponsor list; most of them were movies & networks, not worth bothering with because they would of course be supportive of whatever by the other networks. We do seem making progress on The Project. KUDOS 2 All. NEWS: "The Jenny Jones Show" is in court from lawsuit by a family whose gay son was shot after revealing he had a crush on another guy on the show? No violent incidents after "Price Is Right" or "Jeopardy" shows after all those years, must be a connection. And to think, when this teenage generation now were babies, child psychologists were worried about Roadrunner and The Three Stooges, recommending Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers instead. MORE NEWS: A NJ school is being sued by family for their daughter's teasing and harassment by her fellow students which caused her permanent post traumatic stress syndrome even after she transferred to a private school (one where such doings not allowed to occur under adult supervision) where she found social success and continued her good academic performance. After being rejected by a lower court, it was taken higher to the State Supreme Court who found public schools personnel nonexempt of the charitable exclusion rule as donated funds don't contribute to the maintenance of schools and pay. Of 48 teachers/administrators/workers listed in the complaint, 38 were eliminated as not directly responsible for supervision of the incidents...so this case will now go forward. News like this is probably nationwide, I'd guess; and is sure to cause more ripples of reaction in the pond. I'll go look at my stocks now, maybe get time to talk about 'em. Have a great day, Joan |
