Joe (& Gemmers) - I feel your pain. I too have been guilty of all of the trading mistakes - mostly hanging on to the losers, just knowing they will rebound (and they always do, it just takes months or years sometimes) It's funny - we read the books, and read all the good advice on these threads, but some of us just have to experience it for ourselves. I just reviewed my trading account for April 1st thru yesterday. Gainer trades yielded almost 90% profit - But I gave just about all of it back by hanging on.... very sad. The good news is that we know we can make good trades! and if we want to stay in this business of trading - we WILL learn to cut our losses! Best of luck (and renewed discipline) to you, Joe, and me, and all of you other quiet lurkers in the same situation.
