Lee- agree with your comments about Levitt, CNBC...most telling (and often quoted statistic) is the fact that 80-85% of muni fund managers don't beat the index...and they are supposed to be the experts?

I heard GM auto sales were down for April, but have seen other places that (overall) auto sales were up fairly strongly. What gives??

Heard an interesting guy this morning on the tube...(economist)...said that the last 3 years, U.S. economy has roared out of the gate (until April), and then softened in May, June, July....he is looking for same phenomenon this year, and lower rates by the end of the year....<G>...just thought I'd get that in.......tax refunds fueling 1st quarter growth perhaps??

If techs remain in the dumps for the next couple months, part of the (consumer) boom that the U.S. economy has experienced may ease....
