Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers sells, through public auctions, a range of used industrial equipment, including equipment used in the construction, transportation, mining, forestry, petroleum and agricultural industries. For the comparable nine months ended 9/30/98, revenues rose 7% to $64.3 million. Net income rose 80% to $13.9 million. Revenues reflect higher gross auction sales in the U.S. and Europe.
