WLD How could that possible dilute the value of the company.

The day after the "dividend" MDIN will have exactly the same assets as it had the day before the "dividend". It doesn't matter what those are, they'll be exactly the same ones. Whether real, expected or imaginary, the value of those assets will not change because MDIN spins off another company. Will spinning of the company change the assay results? (No jokes please :-)

What will change is that the value, whatever it may be, will be spread over roughly twice as many shares. It's not the value of the company that is being changed, it is the value of your shares. This isn't exactly rocket-science; you're using the same bag of apples to make two pies instead of one.

There isn't anything inherently wrong with this; companies increase their shares-outstanding and spin things off all the time. Hell, YHOO announced they were increasing their OS by 5x! But to argue that this isn't dilution is ridiculous.

No new assets + more issued stock = dilution.

BTW, isn't ACA Howe now a part-owner of the new NPEC/MDIN shell? Not exactly an unbiased source now, is it?
