As I remember, the Vipers can't be used in a MM setup in Win 98.

See the MM chart at the bottom of page at diamondmm.com, where there is a comment that they aren't yet compatible with MM in Win 98. I don't know if things have changed since then.

I know it sounds strange, but that's what it says, though I've been using them in a MM setup in Win NT for over a year now.

Why can't two Viper V330's be used together in a multimonitor configuration under Windows 98?
The Viper V330 can be used as either as a primary or as a secondary device in a multimonitor configuration in Windows 98, but not both simultaneously because the Viper V330 requires an interrupt (IRQ). However, Diamond and Nvidia are addressing this issue.

This was VERY easy to find. Didn't you say you had checked their site?
