How right you are!!! I meant that maybe they were selling puts. Fleck pointed out that they had made a tremendous amount of money by doing just this, plus buying calls, over the years. This brings up another question that I have: is a company restricted just like insiders in trading in its own stock or derivatives? In other words, can they only trade at certain times, like right after earnings reports are issued to the public?
