I really think Terrence is a good guy. He does have a gloomy outlook for HD, but his posts are well reasoned and full of real history. And though I don't think we are headed for a major meltdown, I do believe there are many blue sky investores in the market these days.

But the one factor I've never heard anyone speak about is the larger number of savvy investors in the market these days than in the past. I think there are a lot of people who watch the market, with long term intentions who have seen that some stocks have carried a high PE for quite some time, MSFT, HD to name a few, and know that if you want to buy and hold you will probably never get a chance to snag some shares at a truly discounted PE. Knowing this they watch and wait. If we get a sell off these investors will be the ones to put the brakes on as they will recognze it for the buying opportunity that it is.

I am not subscribing to the "Paradigm" shift crap. But I do think that with more people investing you won't see a 29 type of crash. With the greater number of investors money movement is becoming more fluid and will always move to quality.

Alright enough of that blather.

Good investing.
