I am not short the stock, but if you own it, shorting an equal measure to your holding may be a wise opportunity to pursue. Generally, short positions have little influence upon a stock's trend, but may influence it upon any given day. Many mistake short positions in stocks as bullish, but indeed, it only becomes so at points of extreme: when the stock has become deeply oversold.
