Bill Gates Sold a ton of stock recently. Gates gets a relatively small salary for a CEO, but has a very expensive lifestyle. His power bill alone on that hotel-sized house of his must take a big chunk of the salary. So he sells stock regularly. Much of what he sells is replenished with options. I don't think it means much at all when he sells.
