Technically, there probably needs to be a climax selloff related to the HP news and the general crappy sentifment about techs right now. Whether yesterday represented that selloff or not, I do not know. What is different about this selloff from others is that it appears relatedt to actual negative news concerning disrtibution of products. The strength of this company's management and ability to execute will now be tested and the recovery will likely come in time as earnings releases tell the story.

At this time, having been in EMC for a long time, I don't plan to sell, but I will wait to buy more. I prefer to buy during uptrend periods where my money can do the most work in the shortest time. I am not selling because EMC is the dominant player in its expanding market. If there were news that EMC product is no longer the best for its market, then I would have to sell because the premise of owning this stock would be altered.
