Yes I know what you mean... many good ones not enough cash to take advantage of all the ones you like.. For your IRA you'll want the steady long term performers (remember buy the "leaders" in their respective sector). For your trading portfolio there are a lot of good short term plays, eg: ATHM will ride the AT&T cable acquisition play, the Roadrunner/@home combo is now possible. ATHM should keep going strong on that basis alone.
