I usually don't either (sell into a strong close that is). Lately I have been holding for the gap and then not selling the next morning when the gap happens (ain't greed a wonderful thing). I just got tired of watching profits disappear. I am glad to be counting my small profit rather than kicking myself for the big profit that got away.

Another reason that I sold is that sometimes I can't get into E*Trade first thing in the morning. It's frustrating to see a stock gapping and not be able to tell your broker to sell. I hope everyone profits on the gap in the AM.
