Gates gets a relatively small salary for a CEO, but has a very expensive lifestyle. His power bill alone on that hotel-sized house of his must take a big chunk of the salary. So he sells stock regularly. Much of what he sells is replenished with options. --- IIRC, Bill hasn't received new options in years. I believe the same is true of Steve Ballmer. You could probably find the answer to this at microsoft.com if you're interested. - Eric
