Sammy, your grasp of history is deficient. I suggest you study the rise of Rome, which began in the 8th century BC as several villages formed a league, the Septimontium, and gradually consolidated into the City of 7 Hills. It did not become a great power until the Punic wars, first of which was fought from 264-241 BC. By then the Old Testament was complete

Four hundred years before this the kingdoms of Judah and Israel had been conquered by the Assyrians and Chaldeans and ceased to exist as free states. The OT was written in the native tongue of the Hebrews centuries before Rome became a state. None of the Bible was written in Latin, tho it was translated into it as well as 3,000 other languages.

I think your "Plagerized Myth" idea is from someone who knew little history. Show some evidence. The tone of your post is snide. Either we reason as gentlemen or I exit. Certainly I'll not bandy insults. The ball is in your court: I've presented valid questions supported by evidence for you to deal with:

How did Moses and Solomon know there were springs in the ocean?
Or that the earth was once entirely covered with water?
How did the writer of Job know Earth is unsupported in space?

Are you acquainted with good manners, Sam? Can you discuss this without becoming incensed? Are you up to the intellectual challenge?

I hope so!
