One down , two more to go - PC CPU market ain't what it used to be Bye bye Cyrix: " Higher-priced PCs, trouble for AMD, and even the return of IBM to the PC-processor market are some of the potential ripple effects that could occur in the wake of the decision by National Semiconductor to dump its Cyrix microprocessor division. news.com Now all you parsers know IBM never left the PC CPU marketplace . It just never tells anybody its inside the Mac . IBM could buy Cyrix but AMD is applying enough hurt to INTC , but then again how much hurt hurts ? Jim K.
