FOSTER CITY, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Ziff-Davis (NYSE: ZD) reports that excitement continues to build as new announcements, special programs and events are being planned for this year's NetWorld+Interop 99 Las Vegas. NetWorld+Interop will take place May 10-14, 1999, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

NetWorld+Interop 99 Las Vegas will be the site of more than 400 new product and product enhancement announcements, as well as corporate announcements from a wide range of companies such as 3Com, AT&T, Altiga Networks, Boostworks, Cisco Systems, Data Fellows, Internet Appliance, Inc., L-3 Network Security, Lucent, MUSIC Corporation, Rainbow Technologies, WRQ and many others.
In addition, the ground-breaking announcement of a new industry consortium involving more than 20 top networking and telecommunications companies will be made on Tuesday, May 11th at 11:15 a.m. in the Media Q&A Room in the Conrad Ballroom at the Las Vegas Hilton.
New Conferences Offer High-Level Content and Address the Latest Technologies NetWorld+Interop is the largest technical conference in the world, with six separate conference offerings, including its flagship General Conference, CommUnity, the Engineers Conference, and three new conferences -- the EXPO COMM conference for service providers, Executive Interop and VPN Day.
