Even though it hasn't done much in 18 years, VLSI has been a great trading stock, for those who could master it. If you assume trading is a zero sum game, then there were also many losers. AIM was/is a valid technique where someone could in effect both invest and trade at the same time, without letting his emotions get in the way of the buy and sell decisions. The results I believe are better than buy and hold, and what the average trader would achieve. You have proved it with your history. However, I always felt AIM needed to be overridden at times, and aren't you happy you didn't sell every week since the buyout offer... Jimbo
