Electronic Arts Announces Fourth Quarter and Fiscal 1999 Results (beats by 2 cents) REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Electronic Arts(TM) (Nasdaq: ERTS - news), the world's largest interactive entertainment software company, today announced record operating results for the fourth fiscal quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 1999. Revenues for the fourth fiscal quarter increased 36 percent to $277.7 million, compared to $204.1 million for the same period of the prior year. Net income for the quarter increased 43 percent to $21.9 million and earnings per share (diluted) increased 40 percent to $0.35. These results compared to $15.4 million and $0.25 earned in the same quarter last year
