Excellent analysis.

Just a couple of points. IBM has been attempting to crush Novadigm over the past couple of years (almost succeeded initially), by telling clients that if they just wait a bit longer IBM would match Novadigm's technology etc....well finally the reality has hit that IBM can't compete technically so that is why Novadigm has turned around nicely. Some of their clients had tried the IBM technology and then switched to Novadigm. As far as I can gather they are the only one's capable of handling huge numbers of desktops simultaneously and have proven this point again and again.

As far as Marimba goes I believe that Novadigm's patent will prove to be a difficult nut for Marimba to crack. And considering that this is all Marimba has technically, I look forward to the court case in September. It may well be that Marimba looks for a settlement with Novadigm prior to the court case in the fall. If this happens then Novadigm's stock should rise rather quickly I would think.
