STRANGE day!

Why would any retail customer decide, at the opening of the trading day, on no news whatsoever (much less catastrophic news), decide to sell: and not try to get the previous day's ask ($.84), or even the previous day's bid ($.75), but to offer shares well below the previous day's bid ($.62)? This makes no sense.

But Market Makers know that the Annual Meeting is coming up soon. And they know that that is an occasion for exciting press releases - good news that can drive up the price of the stock. If they merely try to accumulate stock now (in anticipation of a run-up), that accumulation itself will create a run-up. Far better to squeeze some shares out of scared retail customers. Hmmmmmmm. How might they do that?
