FWIW; the total bond market index is trading where it did when the 30 year was at
6.5%...it's kinda screaming "get on board now...we're leaving the lights on for you".

are you suggesting that rates are moving back to the 6.5% level?

I get that impression......weren't you talking about GE and MRK have
an average debt serviceing cost of 6.33%?
