What happens in many cases is that cable subscribers call in to disconnect their cable when they begin receiving MDU service. The number of people doing this is accelerating. They see proof of what is going on. The cable companies in Canada, for the most part, are large and in good financial shape. They have diversified but are starting to see competition on the cable side for the first time in their lives. I think that in 3-5 years MDU may have at least 10% of the multi dwelling market in Canada and most of this will be at the expense of the old cable monopolies. Cable companies are going to have a hard time keeping up with new technologies.
