I own a IBM pc and consider to buy a iMac or G3 Power Mac for my kids. My IBM pc power fan is kind of noisy. Do iMac or Power Mac or Apple's old models generate any noise even in 'sleep' mode. Also I know there is so many virus for Windows 9X, how about Mac. Do I need virus protection products if I buy a Mac?
