It is all very personal but ...

I am bearish on the markets in general, at least the three I follow part-time... (NAZ, SP 500 and the Nikkei 225) . I also put my money were my mouth is and bought more into a bear fund on the SP and the Nikkei... It hurts a bit right now but I have not changed my evaluation of either one. If you look at the Nikkei 225 it is in good sync with the DOW and if today the reason the Nikkei was up is because the DOW is up again flirting with disaster, then for me that is just one reason to get even more bearish... When the Dow falls it will take the Nikkei with it and that is all the better for me since I am positioned for this scenario on both.

Tokyo's benchmark Nikkei average
jumped more than two percent in early morning trade on
Thursday, as shares of global blue-chip companies were
encouraged by a continuing rally in U.S. stocks, traders said.

I see nothing improved here in Japan, just bureaucrats trying to put positive spins on doubtful and manipulated stats. Only my humble opinion though, I could be wrong and lose out, or right and rake it in, I reckoned the odds are on my side though, so I acted on that.

All the best
