Gosh, I think that was a very funny thing to say. David shouldn't be in politics if he can't take a little humiliation. ANd maybe it wasn't so innocent a mistake. Did Mrs. Brigolspriano ever think of that? HUh? Maybe David was hoping those kids would think he was right; kids aren't real sharp about elections and things. And when it came time to vote, they'd see his name and think, well, wait, he already said he IS president. And since E didn't argue; she must think so, too, so I'll vote for him. It could be that Mrs. B was part of the conspiracy. Was David's last name Brigolspriano? She may have hoped to intimidate you into withdrawing. Even if his last name wasn't Brigolspriano, he could have changed it to avert suspicion. I know these things are real because I'm from a state where mothers murder people so their daughters can get to be cheerleaders.
