I too bot IBM at 45.

I too got called out of the 500sh at 54 because I sold calls. Never did get back in because I thought it might fall back into the 40s.
You mentioned C I bot C 12% bonds at 65 and they were called in at 107. I should have bot Auburn Hills guaranteed exch cert at 80. They were non callable and are trading around 140 today. They had a 12% sliding coupon based on rating. c rating was B now it is A
That was my best investment ever because I collected 60% interest over 3 yrs. and made good cap gains. I think Novl at 20 is possible that's why I have 7000sh.
