ALi-from zorbanite on the yahoo thread went in and looked up the p.e.'s on competitors trailing twelve months sunrise 31 resident care 16 american retirement 32 cap snr living 14 brookdale 21 manor care 140 balanced care 31 what you have here is a bunch of analysts with their noses bent out of joint, because the company didn't call them before they published their earnings outlook. what we have is a company making good returns, that is in a lull, and expects to grow earnings about 40% next year, now trading at about 12 times earnings. either there are a hell of a lot of downgrades coming for this industry, or this puppy is undervalued now by $5 to $8.
