It appears prudent to sell top of the line products with larger margins. I'd like to see Qualcomm use Intel's strategy of marking down prices of older generation products when bringing out the higher priced new-generation products. If the Q's new products remain ahead of the competition, as was true of Intel's products for so many years, the strategy will work for the reasons Morgan mentioned though his reasons were applied to a different strategy of capturing market share. It worked well for Intel. It should work for the Q too. :) --Mike Buckley
