I have a relative working for MSPG who says he heard the same thing....MSPG looking to buy into the cable industry a la AT&T buying TCI and Comcast. I think Paul Allen will figure big in this horse race with his deep pockets and "wired world" portfolio that he is stacking up. I have a DSL line now, but I think this will only be a temporary fix until cable access is readily available everywhere.
