MSFT uses pricing power to keep companies from offering alternatives. Don't you follow the DOJ case? Dell has only begun to offer Linux installed. The real question is ... "If NT is so good, why doesn't MSFT use it?" Ask Microsoft why they use FreeBSD (Linux) for HotMail in lieu of Windows NT. Like I say, if you're surfing the web ... you're using Linux.
